Our client, a leading global energy trading firm, is seeking an LNG Market Risk Analyst to join their risk team in London.

The Role:

Monitor and analyse daily P&L, exposures, and risk metrics across LNG trading portfolios
Provide independent risk analysis and challenge to the trading desk
Support valuation, stress testing, and scenario analysis
Contribute to process improvements, reporting, and risk framework enhancements

The Profile:

2–6 years’ experience in market risk within commodities (LNG/gas highly desirable)
Strong knowledge of risk methodologies, VaR, stress/scenario testing
Familiarity with LNG pricing, derivatives, and trade lifecycle
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
