Software Engineer

We are working with a big name in the Energy Trading space who are looking for a Python Developer to join their Front Office team supporting the traders.

You will primarily be building out models for trade execution with responsibilities including:

• Developing and enhancing multiple Python-based front-office applications and tools
• Taking ownership of the full delivery lifecycle for changes, from requirements analysis and solution design to implementation and deployment
• Providing post-release support and troubleshooting as needed
• Collaborating regularly with end users throughout the change lifecycle to gather feedback and ensure successful delivery

Key Requirements :

• Demonstrated commercial experience in Python development
• Experience working in a Front Office Trading environment (ideally commodities)
• University education in IT, Mathematics, or related field
