Head of Architecture

We’re hiring: Head of Architecture

We’re are working with a Trading firm looking for an experienced Architecture Leader to own the overall architecture of our trading technology estate.

This is a senior leadership role with accountability for the target architecture, technology roadmap, architecture governance and technical debt, as well as building and developing a small team of senior architects.

You’ll work closely with Trading, Risk, Finance, Group IT, Cyber Security and external technology partners, providing architectural direction and challenging decisions where needed.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Strong financial trading technology experience (Ideally wihthin commodities)
• Broad architecture capability across applications, integration, data and infrastructure
• Proven people leadership experience, including leading and developing senior architects
• Experience establishing or running architecture governance / design authority
• Strong understanding of Azure/AWS, containers, event streaming and modern integration patterns
• A good understanding of security, segregation of duties, auditability and regulated environments
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with professional fluency in Englis
